Milan grew up with a family that has embraced the arts. His mother was a fashion designer, creating beautiful pieces of garments for the world to wear and to make a statement. His father was a director who have aided writers let their creations come to life.
His love for the camera started when his father let him come along to one of his sets. Seeing the lights, the well crafted sets, and the busy people running around the area to make sure the actors have gotten what they need; made him realize that he wants to be the one behind the camera.
After graduating from Junior High, he went to De La Salle University - Benilde in order to graduate from the course Bachelor of Arts in Photography.
Right after graduation, he was able to work as a freelancer. Landing jobs for magazines, and a few well known artists in the country.
